Curriculum, Learning & Teaching
The Curriculum Learning & Teaching committee (CLT) is responsible for overseeing the delivery of the curriculum and monitoring pupil progress and attainment. Staff regularly report to the committee on assessment outcomes, focussing on pupil progress and attainment in each year and in specific groups. The committee members evaluate the effectiveness of measures put in place to support pupils achieving, with the overall aim of raising standards across the curriculum.
Finance & Resources
The Finance & Resources committee is responsible for monitoring the school budget, ensuring appropriate levels of financial control and keeping the Governing Body informed about school funding arrangements. They advise on the school’s staffing structure, draft pay policies and monitor staff development and arrangements for staff appraisal and performance management.
Health & Safety
The Premises Committee is responsible for the school’s premises and grounds, health and safety and security. This committee also ensures the monitoring of safeguarding within the school.
